Location

This page contains the following settings:

(A) Dock Location

Z-Level
·     Bottom-Most: The Dock will appear behind all other windows on your screen.
·     Normal: The Dock behaves like a normal windows program and can be hidden by other windows. When Circle Dock has focus, it will float on top of other windows.
·     Topmost: The Dock always appears on top of all other windows.

Centre Dock Around Cursor When Shown
If this option is enabled, the Dock will be centred on the mouse cursor's position. This may result in part of the Dock not being visible.

Lock Dock At Current Position
If this option is enabled, the Dock's current position is memorised and the Dock will always be shown at that location - even if the Dock is moved by a previous "show".

If both of the above options are disabled (ie not checked), the Dock will position itself entirely on-screen close to the current mouse cursor position when it is displayed.

(B) Dock Item Initial Positions

This option specifies how Circle Dock should position Dock Items whenever it shows a new level, or re-shows the current level.

Using their Default Positions is the method always employed by earlier versions of Circle Dock and takes into account the position of the items following a rotation (or partial rotation) of the Dock.

The next four options ignore the item positions following a rotation (or partial rotation) of the Dock and always position the items such that the first item is positioned at one of the four possible points of the compass.

Starting from North positions the first item at the top of the Dock, or 0 degrees
Starting from East positions the first item at the right of the Dock, or 90 degrees
Starting from South positions the first item at the bottom of the Dock, or 180 degrees
Starting from West positions the first item at the left of the Dock, or 270 degrees
